Live Tracking

Real-Time Visibility for Containers, Vehicles, and Logistics Events

What Is It?

Quantainer’s Live Tracking feature delivers continuous visibility into container movements, vehicle locations, and transport-related events across your supply chain. This system is built on direct data integrations with platforms like OneStop, ICS, and other global APIs, ensuring the information is accurate, timely, and traceable.

You no longer have to rely on delayed updates, manual check-ins, or disjointed spreadsheets—everything updates automatically as it happens.

What You Can Track

  • Container Positioning: Know exactly where your containers are—whether at a terminal, on a truck, at a depot, or in quarantine.
  • Depot & Yard Locations: Access the current and historical addresses of container placements, including timestamps.
  • Vehicle Activity: Monitor trucks involved in pickups, drops, and handoffs. View live status from dispatch to return.
  • Custom Events: Track job-specific actions (e.g. “arrived at fumigator”, “returned to yard”, “inspection complete”).

How It Works

Live Tracking is powered by:

  • Data feeds from partners like OneStop and Interport Cargo Services
  • Webhooks and APIs that connect to transport management systems (TMS)
  • Inputs from mobile users using the Quantainerizer app
  • Optional GPS or IoT integration for asset-level visibility

All tracking data is time-stamped and stored in a unified event log accessible via the web platform or mobile dashboard.

Benefits

  • Operational Efficiency: Reduce calls, emails, and check-ins. The system answers “Where is it?” in real time.
  • Exception Management: Spot delays and bottlenecks before they become issues.
  • Data Confidence: Trusted sources and triangulation ensure every movement is verified and auditable.
  • Cross-Stakeholder Access: Allow clients, agents, or depot partners to view only what they need, without compromising privacy.

Use Cases

  • A freight forwarder confirming a container has cleared quarantine
  • A depot manager viewing the truck’s estimated time of return
  • A compliance officer verifying the timestamp of a fumigation drop
  • A client tracking the exact handover location for a shared container
